Malai Murg

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken, breast pieces
  • For marination:
  • 1 cup curd
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp onion, paste
  • 1 cup tomato, puree
  • 1 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • Half cup cornflour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp chicken masala
  • 1 tsp jeera powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Garam masala (as desired)
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1 Tbsp long (cloves), paste
  • 1 Tbsp cardamom, paste
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, paste
  • 1 Tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • For the curry:
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 curry patta, for deep fry of chicken
  • 1 cup refined oil
  • For garnishing:
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 onion
  • Few coriander leaves
  • Half cup cheese, grated

Method

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces with all the ingredients mentioned, till its moist and tender
  2. In a pan take refined oil and deep fry the chicken pieces one by one.
  3. Keep the chicken aside draining the extra the oil.
  4. In another pan put oil and pour 1 liter milk and add the chicken pieces one after another..
  5. Allow the ingredients to get cooked.
  6. Garnish with tomato (chopped) ,onion, coriander leaves and grated cheese.
