The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards showcases various animals captured in hilarious and funny poses.
Entries to participate in this competition closed on 1st October 2015.
The competition was for anyone with outrageous and weird photos animals doing, well, funny stuff.
The competition was founded by Joynson-Hicks to celebrate the silliest photos in the field.
Judges for the competition were Kate Humble, the TV presenter and Hugh Dennis, the famous comedian known for his role in BBC sitcom Outnumbered.
Chubby hamster triumphs in comedic wildlife photography contest. The humorous photo titled
Julian Rad, the Austrian photographer responsible for the winning hamster image, was awarded with an impressive array of prizes, including a trophy, a Nikon D750 camera and a seven-day guided photo safari trip to Tanzania.
This photo titled ‘You haven’t seen me…’ got the Silver runner-up.
